This Winchester was produced in 1928. The carbine's serial number is 1055333. This is a standard carbine that has a King Buckhorn rear sight installed. The front sight is a Sheard Sight. These sights are correct period sights for this Winchester. The bore is very fine with no frosting. The stock and forend retain almost all of the original varnish. On top of the stock, 2 inches from the butt plate heel is a small professionally plugged hole. The size fits the old style brass compass that was used and installed during that time. The reciever is mostly silver The barrel blue would rate a 95% condition.
