It is a beautiful rifle with a deluxe American Walnut stock with fleur-de-lis checkering and a Schnabel forearm. This rifle has the controlled round feeding like the pre-64 models that made this model line famous. It has a long Mauser-style extractor and a jeweled bolt left bright. It is chambered in .270 Winchester and is in like new condition. The factory high gloss blue finish rates 99%. There are no signs of wear or thinning on any of the blued parts. The gold writing and outline on the floorplate look sharp and clean. The bore is minty and bright in this rifle. The rifling has sharp lands and grooves. The trigger guard and magazine housing are alloy and have a black finish that is nearly perfect, The factory-checkered American Walnut stock is also in excellent condition overall.
