Description: Exceedingly scarce Winchester Model 70 "transition" rifle in .375 mag with smooth topped, undrilled rear bridge! S/N 78*** with matching bolt Mfg. 1948. Has the contoured 25" Barrel. Bore and mechanical function are like new. Overall condition is superb with only a few slight handling impressions in wood. 99% Blue, 99% Varnish. Pad is factory issued as on all 375s, is genuine (not a repro) and looks virtually new beyond some slight patina.
