Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Pre 64 In The Rare 358 Winchester In Almost New Condition
Description:
This Featherweight Winchester was produced in 1953. The rifle's serial number is 269484. This Featherweight rifle is chambered to shoot the 358 Winchester cartridge. This rifle is one of only 2000 ever produced in this chambering. This rifle has the standard 22 inch Featherweight barrel with a minty bore. The sights are original to this Winchester. This rifle has been fired, maybe a few rounds if that much! The bolt face has a very faint fire ring around the firing pin hole. There is no other sign of this rifle being handled. The original bluing would rate a 100% condition. The stock is in new condition. The checkering is also in new condition with sharp checkering points. The aluminum butt plate also retains all of the original bluing on the plate face. The magazine floor plate and trigger housing also is in new condition. This is a very rare Model 70 Featherweight with this very low production run! This Winchester deserves to be in a very fine Winchester Collection! The condition alone makes this Winchester Stand out!
