It remains in 99% original condition, has not been modified in any way, and shows little evidence of firing or handling. It may be unfired since leaving New Haven. This is very desirable configuration of this model, as only approximately 6,800 .243 Standards were made, and those with a special order feature would constitute only a small fraction of that.
