This Winchester Model 71 was produced in 1957. The rifle's serial number is 46781. This Winchester has the standard 24 inch barrel chambered for the 348 Winchester cartridge. This rifle is in new unfired condition. The bore is in bright minty condition. This deluxe rifle is the short tang variation. The stock has the special order pistol grip without the pistol grip cap. The checkering is slightly different from the standard deluxe pistol grip stock due to the shape of the non capped pistol grip. The stock and forend is in new condition. The stock has the Winchester quick dismount sling mounts that are issued to the deluxe rifles. The original beautiful bluing would rate a 100% condition. The butt plate also has the bluing as 100% condition. The rear sight is a factory installed Lyman sight. The front sight still has the sight hood intact. The action is in new condition.
