Winchester Model 61 Standard Grade 22 Rifle In It's Original Box With Papers

This Winchester was produced in 1959. The Rifle's serial number is 314010. It has the standard 24 inch round barrel chambered to shoot the 22 Short, Long And Long Rifle. This rifle is as new in the original shipping box. This rifle does show some very light sign of being assembled. Most likely at the gun shop for display before it was sold. This receiver is the early groove top for the scope mount. Before this gun, the receiver tops were smooth tops. The original bluing would rate a strong 99% condition. The wood is in new condition. You can tell that this gun has been stored in it's original box all this time. Just look at the butt plate, It has turned white by oxidation. If this gun has been handled the white powder would have rubbed off. The box still has the hanging tag and papers intact. The box is very sound with no issues. The box does have some storage grime on the box top. The label is intact and fully readable. These Winchester Model 61's that still have their original boxes and papers are a real collectable and hard gun to find today. Here is a very fine condition Winchester for the discriminating collector!
