Offered her for sale and just acquired along with a fine collection of shotguns is this Classic Doubles CVC Sporter II 12 GA Engraved O/U shotgun.
The “Classic Sporter” was introduced in 1993. The design of the CVC Classic Sporter is derived from the prior Classic Doubles / Winchester Model 101–style shotgun lineage.  When Classic Doubles ceased operations in 1997, the owners formed CVC to continue producing a similar gun in the U.S. under the CVC name.
When the original maker of the Winchester 101 dropped the line, Classic Doubles took over production using the same factory, tooling, and essentially identical design — so many internal parts (“mechanical parts”) remained identical and interchangeable between Classic Doubles 101 and Winchester 101, making this a trusted design which has the same sources of parts should repair of any kind be needed.  
The Classic Sporter II was made in 12 gauge only, madce for Sporting Clays competition-with this specimen 30” barrels, vent rib with choke tubes, quick detachable stock system, border engraved coin finished receiver with non-reflective matte surface on top frame and lever, checkered walnut stock and forearm. 7-3/4 lbs. This specimen, serial number CVC 040 has a 145/8” length of pull. Drop at comb1-3/8”. Drop at heel 1-7/8”.
The shotgun appears to have seen very little use and appears to be in 99% condition with only the slightest mark on receiver from wiping down with oil (only noticeable under our bright camera lights). In original hard case which we will ship with the shotgun.
Definitely a very fine vintage shotgun in excellent condition.
