A rare and elegant English boxlock ejector from Charles Fox, this 20 gauge side-by-side shotgun hails from the esteemed collection of Cyril Adams, one of the most revered names in fine gunmaking and gun fitting. This particular gun is serial number 78656, which places its original manufacture likely in the early 1920s, during the height of the Birmingham trade’s output.
It features 28” barrels, chambered for 2 3/4” modern loads, and has been reproofed by the London Proof House for 7/8 oz. loads—a strong endorsement of its integrity and usability. The gun retains double triggers, an articulated front trigger, and automatic ejectors, all in excellent mechanical condition.
