Ithaca 1927 Grade 4E 12ga sxs

Description:
I had 2 different dealers in collectable shotguns at the last Chantilly show give me their opinions on condition and value.
Their opinion results were: "85-90% condition.
I am not an expert, just sharing what I have been told by dealers who appear to be experts w eyes on inspection opinion.

Ithaca were each custom made to order by hand back in the day.
I have been told this one has some unique/odd features, like barrel length and both barrels same improved choke, Ithaca pad..

Original, matching numbers, I have only lightly cleaned it w oil/gun cleaner.

Has the original owner's name engraved on inlaid gold shield on butt stock.

1 of 560 Ithaca models manufactured in 1927, as I understand.
I have not yet found reference to how many of the 560 made were 12ga and 4E vs other ga and configuration.

I am not so much into collectors, unless a family related pass down.
This came from a friend of family estate.
So I am willing to let it go to someone who appreciates such a collector item.

U.S. Buyer ONLY.
I much prefer to deal face to face in VA.
However, I understand that in the GI market place a FFL to FFL transfer requiring shipping may be necessary.
In such event, Buyer and Seller will reach an agreement on a method of payment, that will clear before being shipped.
In the event of a return post 3-day inspection, the refund will be provided upon reciept and acceptable inspection of the returned item.
Popular electronic payment platforms will NOT be acceptable.
A bank escrow to bank escrow transfer is one example of an acceptable method of payment.
Seller has a preferred FFL to utilize for shipping.
All FFL and All Shipping with insurance Fees will be at Buyer's addiitional expense.
