In fair condition, This LeFever Nitro Special 16 gauge is a popular and durable vintage side-by-side shotgun manufactured by the Ithaca Gun Company from 1921 to 1947. It is known as a reliable "working man's gun" rather than a high-end collector's item. Key Features & Specifications The Nitro Special is a boxlock action shotgun with a design focused on utility and durability. Manufacturer: Although marked "LeFever Arms Co.", these shotguns were produced by the Ithaca Gun Company after they purchased the LeFever name in 1916.
