Parker Brothers - VHE - 12ga Stk# C398

This original 12 Ga Parker VHE Hammerless Shotgun was made in 1910. Features a 30” blued tapered round barrels with a front bead mounted on a matte rib. Manufacture information is stamped on matted rib and reads “Parker Bros Makers. Meriden Conn. Vulcan Steel. The bores are in very good condition. The left barrel has an improverd modified choke and the right barrel is cylinder bore. The finish on the barrels has some light wear and a few light scratches under the forend. The Walnut buttstock and forend with checkering are good with the exception of some usage dents and scratches. The pistol grip cap is in very good condition and bears the manufacture’s name. The rear of the butt stock has some wood chips out of the toe area and the butt plate is damaged near the toe. There is also a small crack near the left side of the tang. The action has retained some color case hardening and locks up tight; with smooth operation. This shotgun is overall in very good condition with the exception of the toe and some scratches/ usage dents from handling. The length of pull is 13-1/2” left trigger and 14-1/4” right trigger. Overall length is 46-1/4”, weight is 7.6 lbs. Our stock number is C398.
