Beautiful High Condition Ithaca Flues 16 gauge Grade 4

Description:
Ithaca Flues Grade 4 16 gauge
Bbls. 30" of fine Damascus steel. Shotgun is nitro proofed which is rare & desirable. Brass front bead. Case colored boxlock action. Grade 4 engraving featuring game scenes of pointing dogs on sides w/ a quail on floor plate & woodcock on the trigger guard bow. Scenes are surrounded by arabesque scroll & fancy borders. Gold finished double triggers. Plain extractors. Ebony tipped splinter forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy black walnut. Features include segmented Fluer-de-Lis hand checkering & gold shield in toeline. CONDITION: very fine. Bbls. retain over 90% gray toned browned finish showing vivid Damascus pattern. Action retains 80% bright case colors showing wear in carry areas. Wood has good original finish & checkering showing scattered scratches & handling marks. Very good bright bores.
