Screw heads are clean and properly timed. Engraving is sharp. Mechanically fine. Tight-on-face. Recent work by reputable and capable gunsmith: checkering re-traced and fore end repair.
This is a higher grade gun With an optional Anson and Deely pushrod fore-end release and decorative fore-end insert. The concave game rib has the Picadilly London showroom address. It opened in 1917.
