Here is a fabulous 12 gauge boxlock ejector by Armstrong & Co (of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.) It was built circa 1904. The 28" nitro-reproved Damascus barrels have 2 3/4" chambers and excellent bores, choked .003/.032 (about skeet/light full). The gun is tight and on face, and the ejectors are strong and in time. The receiver features the maker's name in a flowing banner, surrounded by best border and acanthus scroll engraving. The fore-end has an Anson patent push-rod release. The figured stock has crisp checkering. There is one small indentation in the fore-end checkering, but the wood is otherwise in excellent condition. The stock measures 1 5/8" x 2" x 14 1/2" including a leather pad. There is slight cast off (for a right hand shot). The weight is 6 lbs 8 oz. A real beauty.
