Offered is a stunning SKB Model 585 Angelo Bee Limited Edition over/under fine shotgun, part of SKB's "One of a Kind" series of master-engraved commissions. Serial Number AB 00520, 12 gauge.

This piece showcases the work of master engraver Angelo Bee, an Italian-born, F.N./Browning-trained artisan who apprenticed in Herstal, Belgium under Felix Funken for 25 years before immigrating to the United States in 1975 under the sponsorship of Frank Pachmayr. Bee's specialty is gold inlay, and this receiver is a textbook example of his signature style.

Engraving details:

• Full-coverage hand-cut floral scrollwork with punch-dot background on receiver, top lever, and trigger guard
• Gold-inlaid flying pheasant pair on both sides of the receiver, set against engraved grass and foliage
• Gold-inlaid pheasant on the underside (floorplate)
• Additional gold-inlaid pheasant on the top lever
• Engraver's signature "A. BEE" with trademark bumblebee on the underside
• Coin-finish receiver

Condition: Excellent throughout. Bluing on barrels is deep and even with no visible wear to the finish. Bores are bright and clean. Wood retains original high-gloss finish with sharp checkering. Coin-finish receiver shows full engraving detail and crisp gold inlay. Mechanically tight on the face, locks up firmly, ejectors function correctly.
A genuine collector-grade piece from one of America's most recognized master engravers. Complete packages with the original case, manuals, and distributor invoice like this are increasingly uncommon.

This gun was fired ~20 times by my father and I. When my grandfather passed away, I took this to the range and shot it with my father.
