This shotgun retains its U.S. military markings and is equipped with the correct trench gun heat shield and bayonet adapter. Included is an original Remington-made M1913 bayonet dated 9-17.The metal retains an attractive military-style finish with honest handling wear consistent with age. Wood remains solid and serviceable with no major cracks noted. The action functions smoothly and the overall appearance is that of a well-preserved military shotgun.
