Winchester Early Model 42 Field Grade 410 Shotgun
Description: This Winchester was produced in 1936. The shotgun's serial number is 20194. It is fitted with a 28 inch full choke round barrel. The take down feature is tight with no play. The bore is bright with no issues. The wood has no cracks or damage. The stock shows field use and wear. The butt plate is in fine condition and original to the stock. The stock and forend retain almost all of the original finish. The action works smoothly and locks up tight. The original bluing on the barrel would rate a 96% or better. The reciever would rate a strong 97% condition. The magazine tube would rate a 90% due to pumping wear. This is a honest field used but not abused shotgun. These early production Winchester Model 42's are hard to find in nice condition today! This is one of the nice Model 42's that have survived! this shotgun would appeal to the hunter as well as the clay bird shooter! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
