Winchester 1897 built in 1898 or 1899 low serial number 5 digits C non-takedown completely rebuilt in 2001 by Coyote Cap the renowned cowboy shooting gunsmith.

Converted to six round capacity; action and internal components have been modified to allow fast reload and shooting. All known issues that plagued the 1897 have been addressed by Cap. This gun will not lockup it is ready for cowboy action shooting.

This is a piece of Winchester history and CAS history as well with unique action work completed by Coyote Cap which he signed and serial numbered.
