Winchester Model 21 Skeet 16ga in excellent original condition.

Description:
I inherited this beautiful shotgun from my father's estate when he passed a year ago.  I know almost nothing about fine shotguns, but was told this one was special.  It is a Winchester Model 21 in 16ga and is a Skeet model.

I was told it is in excellent original condition and has not been refinished.  Furthermore, I met with my father's attorney while settling the estate and he indicated that he used to own this shotgun.  He purchased three Winchester Model 21s, all original and un-fired, in calibers 20ga, 16ga, and 12ga.  He bought the matching set of shotguns in the 80's from my father's gun store in the 80's for a price of just under $5k.

He took the 16ga out hunting, and fired it in the field, harvesting a few birds.  When my father found out, he told him that he really shouldn't have done that, since it was a pristine un-fired Model 21 and he just drastically lowered the value.

My father ended up buying the shotgun back, and used it to take a few Chukkar and quail.  

It appears to still be in excellent condition with very little discernable wear.  I have a Winchester shotgun case that I assume is for this shotgun.  It appears to be an original factory case from the 1940s in excellent condition.  Letter of certification completed by the Cody Firearms Museum.
